Gala Evening raises £5,000

Our Charity Gala Evening at The Old Bridge in Huntingdon on Sunday 14 October raised a fantastic £5,000.

Nearly 80 supporters packed the Terrace Restaurant bidding furiously on a variety of auction items including a ride around the Silverstone circuit in a Radical Sportscar, microlight flights over Cambridgeshire, a Harley Davidson jacket, an overnight stay and dinner at The Old Bridge and a long weekend in a Devon B&B near Ivybridge. There were also opportunities to bid for 'silent’ auction items including a MasterChef Cookbook signed by the presenters and a luxury Christmas Hamper.

It was the first event of its kind held by PMRT and included a champagne reception, three course dinner and dancing for £75/ticket. The event was an opportunity to link-up with new supporters from across Huntingdonshire and beyond and was such a success that plans are already in progress for a similar event in Spring 2014. 

Guests arrived including boxer Dave "Boy" Green.

A champagne reception with music was enjoyed.

Dinner was served followed by a charity auction and dance.
